Instead of a football field or a porch hangout, Friday night lights shone down on a tent and table with a sign that read “The only right women should have is the 5th. Prove me wrong.”?
Myron Gaines, a political speaker and co-host of the “Fresh and Fit” podcast, spoke at the Browning Amphitheater Friday night, returning to the university for his second visit and as a stop for the 2026 leg of his Toxic Masculinity Tour.
Gaines told the Lantern after the event ended that he wanted Ohio State students to have an open discussion on topics that people may be scared to talk about.?
“Whether it’s feminism, Jewish infiltration of American politics, Zionist infiltration, race realities, freedom of speech, different things that people are terrified to talk about nowadays because everyone wants to be politically correct and everyone’s terrified of being canceled,” Gaines said. “I understand that we’re in an environment where certain topics can be frowned upon. But, I do think that we need to be able to encourage open discussion on taboo topics and entertain all ideas, whether people agree with them or not.”
Gaines is traveling with Uncensored America, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to fighting for free speech, per the group’s website. He is known for his controversial stances on women, different religious faiths, various ethnicities and the LGBTQ+ community.?
Around 150 people, the vast majority being men, gathered between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. to listen to Gaines speak about a wide variety of topics, most notably anti-feminism, anti-semetic, and homophobic rhetoric, with pieces of life advice added in throughout the night.?

Over the course of the night, over 60 slurs were said by Gaines, with the most commonly said being the R-word at 26, F-word at 25 and the N-word at 7, not including slurs that other people said in a debate.?
Spectators had the opportunity to go up and speak into a microphone to Gaines, choosing to agree, disagree or ask for his advice. While very few people flat out disagreed, there was enough conversation to keep the evening lively and the audience engaged.?
Elijah Day, a second-year in philosophy, politics and economics from Denison University, said that he was interested in hearing what Gaines had to say in a live setting, versus his online videos.?
“It was pretty interesting to see how many people agreed with what he had to say,” Day said.?
Day also added that he was surprised to see how many people came to support the event, especially since he doesn’t attend Ohio State.?
“Honestly, a lot of these college campuses are, I don’t want to say indoctrination camps, but a lot of them incentivize you to have more liberal takes,” Day said. “I feel like him being here allows for more discussion on the other side that you don’t really get at these colleges. I was surprised, even with a lot of the leftist influence at these universities, that we were still able to get a lot of supporters.”

Ethan Lutz, a second-year in nutrition and exercise science, said that he came to the event because he has two sisters and has a passion for women’s rights.
“I wasn’t expecting that people as smart as the students here at The Ohio State University would be okay with this behavior,” Lutz said. “Espesicially having the courage to, as being a student here, be okay with this, and even express that [their] support with this women-hatred and this tearing down of different races of people and types of demographics of people. It’s unbelievable.”
Lutz said that he was waiting to speak to Gaines after the event, as Lutz didn’t want to have a debate with him.
“You can’t debate with someone like that,” Lutz said. “He’s been doing this all over the country and, obviously, nobody has swayed his mind.”
Here are some of the topics Gaines debated about on Friday:
Gender equality
Gaines said that the main topic of debate for the night was feminism and women’s rights. Gaines said, in relation to the prompt on his table, that the only right that women should have is the fifth — or the right to remain silent.
“I don’t think women should even have the right to vote,” Gaines said. “I think we should appeal the 19th amendment, as well.”
Gaines also said that women should not be allowed to drive.
Throughout the duration of the event, Gaines also said that women are “stupid,” “r***rded” and “promiscuous.”?
One person went up to the mic and asked Gaines what the ingredients would be if a woman would make him a sandwich.
Gaines replied by asking for the ethnicity of the women, in which the person who asked the question replied with “latina.”
“I don’t even know why I cared about the ethnicity, I don’t want tacos,” Gaines said, then following up with his sandwich order.
Religion
Though Gaines was raised Muslim, he had a lot to say regarding the Christian majority in the United States, had oppositions with the idea of building more mosques across the country and openly practicing different faiths.?
Similar to his visit to Ohio State on Nov. 12, 2025, Gaines used the example of Muslims praying in Times Square.?
“For Muslims to pray in Times Square, I think it’s just very distasteful and disrespectful because this isn’t a Muslim country,” Gaines said. “For them to do that with all the negative connotations, just like not intelligent. Just because you could doesn’t mean you should.”
Gaines also made several remarks about Jewish people.
“Jews and blacks are the biggest f***ing crybabies in America,” Gaines said.?
Someone also asked Gaines when he started to not like Jewish people, and if it was a life-long thought, or new.
“Anyone from the Middle Eastern background or Muslim is going to be red pilled on the Jews to some degree,” Gaines said. “We’re all aware of them creating wars all across the Middle East for literally decades. So, if you grow up in a Muslim household, you’re going to be aware of the Jews to some degree.”
Sexuality and the LGBTQ+ community
Gaines made several comments about the LGBTQ+ community, occasionally calling members of the audience who disagreed with him the F-word.?
“Gays should not be allowed to adopt children, that’s f*****g ridiculous,” Gaines said. “Kids need a two-parent household. They need a mom and a dad. They don’t need two dads or two moms.”
Even moving past queer households, Gaines made his thoughts on same-sex couples very clear.?
“As far as homosexuals in general, I think open homosexuality should be illegal,” Gaines said. “Open homosexuality should also be banned, gay parades should be banned. I’d have gay zones, or f****t zones, where gays, they can go ahead and congregate and do all the degeneracy that they want there.”?
One student presented Gaines with an old photo of Gaines being kissed by a man on the cheek, in which Gaines responded that sometimes “guys do a lot of sus s**t.”?
Additionally, somebody asked if Gaines would prefer a “gay son or th*t daughter.”
“The gay son, unfortunately, because a th*t daughter, everyone knows she’s a th*t,” Gaines said. “The gay son, I could beat the gay out of him.”
