Savvy Sliders closes its University District location Sunday after four years of business on High Street.
The fast-food chain located at 2106 N. High St., known for its hamburgers and milkshakes, closed Sunday, said general manager Isiah Zinthallah. The location opened in Nov. 2022, according to prior Lantern reporting.
Zinthallah said she will miss being able to put a smile on customers’ faces.?
“We see you guys, whether you don’t think so, we do,” Zinthallah said. “We remember your guys’ names, your faces [and] your friends.”
Zinthallah said she is disappointed by ongoing developments and business closures within the University District.?
“All the buildings are going away,” Zinthallah said. “All the bars are closing down. Things are closing down because things are getting too expensive, and it’s wicked out here.”?
Savvy Sliders did not specify a reason for the location’s closure in time for publication
Savvy Sliders has one other remaining Columbus location at 1450 W. Broad St., according to the website.?
