Whether you’re looking for sushi, tacos, cocktails or a quick bite after class, Columbus has plenty of happy hour deals throughout the city.?

Read on to discover a few spots around the city to check out when the clock strikes happy hour.

698

Located at 698 N. High St., 698 offers happy hour specials Monday through Friday featuring discounted sushi, appetizers and drinks.

General manager Tyler Wright said the restaurant’s happy hour is designed to offer customers a variety of options at a lower price.

“Ours is an incredibly good value,” Wright said. “Most of our sushi rolls are typically between $15 and $25 but for happy hour they are $13. The reason we chose the rolls we have is to give a diversity of what we have on the menu.”

The happy hour sushi selection includes cooked, vegetarian, fried and traditional fish rolls. Half-off appetizers are also available, including the popular crispy tuna truffle roll and red chili dumplings, Wright said. The Manhattan and Dynamite rolls are also among its most popular sushi options for happy hour.

Wright described 698’s happy hour as “cozy, laid back and fun.”

Lincoln Social Rooftop

Located on the ninth floor at 711 N. High St., Lincoln Social Rooftop offers happy hour Tuesday through Friday from 4-7 p.m.

Customers can get $5 off house cocktails, $5 beers and half-off bottles of wine, according to the website. The restaurant also offers $5 off sushi, pizza and ‘For the Table’ items, along with half-off oysters.

With its rooftop setting overlooking the Short North, Lincoln Social offers a happy hour option for customers looking to grab a drink or bite with a view.

Local Cantina

Local Cantina’s happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. at all of its locations.

Megan Campbell, head of marketing and community impact at Local Cantina, said the Columbus-born taco and margarita restaurant offers $2 off appetizers and dips, $6 Local Margs, $5 Mustache Rides, the restaurant’s signature margarita and $3 draft beers.

Happy hour specials are available for dine-in customers only.

The Upper Arlington location, at 1670 W Lane Ave, Suite 150, offers $2 well drinks, $2 Cerveza Amarillo and $2.22 house tacos during happy hour, Campbell said.

Taco Tuesday offers an additional deal for customers looking for tacos.

“Tuesday is an especially good day to visit,” Campbell said in an email. “Taco Tuesday offers $2.22 house tacos and $4 Top Shelf tacos, so guests can enjoy those deals alongside happy hour.”

Campbell said the restaurant hopes its happy hour gives students an opportunity to catch up with one another.

“We want happy hour to be an easy reason for students to get together,” Campbell said.

惭补谤肠别濒濒补’蝉

惭补谤肠别濒濒补’蝉, located at 615 N. High St., offers its half-price happy hour menu Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m. in its bar and cocktail lounge.

Customers can get half-off select foods and drinks, including antipasti, appetizers, soups, salads and pizzas, according to its website.

The drink specials include half-off sangria by the glass, cocktails, bottles and cans. Wine glass pours are available for up to $9.

The happy hour menu gives customers a chance to try items from 惭补谤肠别濒濒补’蝉 Italian-inspired menu at a discounted price.

Brothers Bar & Grill

For those looking for a happy hour that extends beyond the usual food and drink discounts, Brothers Bar & Grill offers specials throughout the week.

The downtown Columbus location at 477 N. Park St. has happy hour Monday through Friday from 3-7 p.m. During happy hour, customers can get $4 domestic bottles and regular domestic drafts, $3 well mixers among other deals on drafts, according to the bar’s website.

But the deals don’t stop when happy hour ends.

Brothers offers different specials throughout the week, according to the website, including $3 cheeseburgers from 5-10 p.m. on Tuesdays, 40-cent wings starting 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and $1 well mixers on Thursdays.
